[UPDATE: I’m happy to say that Drag City Castings has NOT in fact folded it operations completely. Ed Fluck Jr. continues to sell resin parts on a limited scale. Though he no longer operates his website, he can be contacted via email at email@example.com for ordering, and some of his products can be seen here, though this list may be out of date. Best to contact Ed directly if you are looking for one of his items. The original post appears below. – Jeff.]
I just received the following email from Ed Fluck Jr:
Haven’t talked to you in a while. I figured I’d drop you a line to let you know that it looks like I’ll be forced to close down by the end of the year. So, if there’s anything you had your eye on; or are interested in getting another casting of while it’s still available just let me know. I am out of resin now and don’t have the funds to order more; so what I have currently in inventory is it.
Hope all is well!
Talk to you soon,
I’ve ordered a few items from Ed in the past, including that green chopped ’37 Chevy I had at the last meeting. The quality is as good as you’ll see anywhere in the resin business, and Ed’s a great guy to deal with. Most of his inventory is vintage drag racing parts, hoods, wheels, bodies and more, so if you see anything that you might like to have, drop Ed a line sooner than later as I’m sure his inventory is starting to get low. You won’t be disappointed.
